Hello Everyone i'm not sure if you are aware but city gardens takea mayor's lots why in the world is it this way I have no idea. We Mayors are the only ones who can place them and I'm sorry to say but I really hate the idea of having just one garden in my city is lame, boring, and not very stetically beutifull. I know this is probably SOE's way to cut on server lag but the fact is that garden structurs should not take my friggin lots. My citizens and I want a beutifull city by using all of what we thought was "available" to do so. They increase the city's maintnance so why do they take MY LOTS!!!
If you are so worried about people placing gardens everywhere then why give them? Why not make them work like decorations? the server still has to load them and I assure you there are more people placing statues than gardens for the meer fact that they take considerable land area unile statues and fountains.
PLEASE TAKE AWAY LOT REQUIREMENT ON GARDENS IT DOES NOT MAKE SENCE, WHY DO I HAVE TO SACRIFICE MORE THAN I SHOULD? SO WHAT NOW i HAVE TO MAKE THE TOWNHALL MY HOUSE AND PUT MY BED IN IT JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T THINK I SHOULD HAVE A HOUSE OF MY OWN IF I WANT GARDENS? OH WAIT MAYBE YOU THINK THAT MAYORS MAY NOT CRAFT AND DON'T NEED THEIR LOTS FOR EXTRACTORS?

Gardens do NOT take lots.
I have about a dozen in my city, so Im absolutely sure of this.
They do however (at least temporarily) get a faction flag if places by a covert factioned Mayor.
Its those sneaky commando types hiding in the bushes i swear ![]()

i have nearly a dozen gardens ranging in size from small to large to exotic and they dont take any of my lots, i suspect my friend that you have not looked closely enough at your lot count and perhaps you have a harvester out there that you have not accounted for ?
