Ok, there is a Mayor that wants to resign as Mayor, and had been trying to get people in city to vote in the new Mayor, but the problem is, many are AFK/ not logging in offen enough/ or not active in playing game, to go vote for the new Mayor, and seems like those that don't log in offen enough to make the change, will not be able to change Mayors ?? All because of the Automatic vote system of those that are resident in the city, but not active, or semi active.

Any solutions to this at all ??

The person that is currectly acting as Mayor will not be active in game, because , has to leave overseas.

Indeed this is a stupid rule, people who dont vote should not have their vote counted to anyone. I do believe the new patch features a command to resign as mayor, meaning there will be no default vote and only people who do vote will be counted for something.

I am currently doing the same thing in our city on infinity server, So far I have got 20 people to vote for me, leaving 60 votes for the current mayor, if i dont get another 21 votes then the city will have a mayor that isnt a politician any more and wont be able to do anything.
