My PA wants my BE/Tailor to be a politician now too, but I only have enough skill points left for very few skills. Would I be able to take up politician, get enough xp for one line (say 4.0.0.0 for sake of argument), place whatever I wanted to place out of that line, then drop that line and go on to train the next (0.4.0.0 now), and do the same again, without the original things I'd placed disappearing because I'd dropped the line?

the only problem you'd have is if a building poofed or if you had to move something.. if you don't have the skill, you can't move a bank or clone center... you could pick it up, but not set it back down sans skill.

I see a bigger problem being never being able to drop 0020, oh your citizens say they wont harrass you for them, but they will, every single day.

Luckily my citizens will include my boyfriend, his best rl friend, his other rl friends, and some other people we've known for a very long time, so if they do start harrassing me...I know where they live!

yes, i am forever changing trainers around in my city. might not be an issue in a small city, but a large city will want many trainers and for them to be swapped around a fair bit.

a tip on this, if you are close to an NPC city, then go see what trainers it has then when one of these trainers is requested by a resident politly inform them that there is a trainer in the town just 2000m away or whatever... then you can just worry about the ones that are not as handy.
