Can anyone tell me how to resign as a player city Mayor?

There is no method of resignation. You must be voted out by your citizens to be removed as mayor.

Just curious, what does undeclaring your residence do if you are the mayor.........it should no longer make you a citizen, thus taking you out of office. Just curious.

When you are mayor, the city hall is your declared residence. You cannot declare elsewhere.
