Current mayor is leaving our city. So i have decided to run for mayor. So i have a few questions.

Will we lose shuttleport and other things?

Will i lose lots for buildings?

What other things should i be asking you all and what should i expect as a mayor (if i get elected)

Will we lose shuttleport and other things? The only way to lose civic structures is if your city falls below the rank needed to support it or if you do not have the money in the city hall to pay the maintance.

Will i lose lots for buildings? Civic structures cost 0 lots.

I'm a novice politician myself (only established our city 4 days ago), but I would think that depends onwhat your citizens want and what would serve them best. For us, we're an Imperial city, but have little capability to defend ourselves at the moment (we're still very small). We also have no vendors yet in the city, so there are mor reasonsNOT to put ourselves on the planetary than there are to become visible. My priority is getting mission terminals up so my citizens can actually stay within the city when they decide to go earn some money.

But those are just my goals for our city. Yours may differ. You need to ask yourself what your people need most (if you have a lot of crafters trying to run a business, it might be a good idea to get yourself back on the map so you can attract some attention).
