Thread: City Events
In the early part of March, we had a pulltab sort of event, where we put prizes in 2 vendors, all inside backpacks. The backpacks were priced a certain amount, and whoever bought the backpack got whatever was inside it. Some prizes like vehicles, some were nice sets of clothing, a couple were houses or harvesters, or power were included, as well as not-so-expensive-but-still-cool prizes, like a set of instruments, or certificates for free ID makeovers, etc.
It ended up generating almost a million for us in sales on those 2 special vendors, and brought in a whole bunch of people to the party that was also going on.
Good luck! Events are a lot of fun to throw! Recently we had a Jeopardy! gameshow night, which though not as hotly attended as the initial party, still drew a small and funloving crowd.
Anyone else have any other ideas to add?
A Little Bit Of Pain Never Hurt AnyoneCheck our website... we have a bi-weekly storytelling evening (one tonight actually), last week we had Bingo. Also had parties with my band Talus Moon.

1. this is by far the biggest brought the most money crowd and attention... many storeys writen on it as well.

Those are five of the big ones i've done however I've done a bunch more basicly, just do something thats fun for you but also that your sure will be fun for a large group

btw if your city needs money... that first event brought in over 25mil for the two city's involved not counting sales tax or shuttle fee's. If you had to count those I would say add about another half mil or so
