Thread: A Change in Policy to the Inavtivity Rule?
For the Record
The only communication we have ever had on the topic of the inactivity rule was a post by Thunderheart defending the rights of inactive and non-paying players to have their property and inventories presevered indefinitly.
There has NEVER been any kind of explanation, description, or goal for this rule.
Ironically, a search for inactive in the knowlege base yields this as one of the topics:
Star Wars Galaxies: A member of our City has been inactive recently and we would like to have their structure removed from our City, what are our options?
clicking this results in the response:
Star Wars Galaxies: A member of our City has been inactive recently and we would like to have their structure removed from our City, what are our options In situations like this, the house will need to decay on its own, due to insufficient maintenance funds. Customer Service can only intervene in situations where we have express written consent of the house owner to remove their structure (administrator requests are not supported), if the owner account has been closed, or if the owning character has been deleted.
The highlighted part is interesting. I believe this is new. Perhaps there is some hope for getting the house-turds removed. This WOULD, however, contradict what Thunderheart has said previously. It would not be the first time.
