Hi

I mthe mayor of a second generation city. We currently have 60 citizens but we haven t been allowed to advance to level 4 for a long time now.

With the 6 weeks inactive rule we thought we might get finally our chance to advance because they would remove all the inactives from the cities.

But the only thing happened was a big revival of cross-server citizen trades

the first gen cities just replaced lost dummy citizens with new dummy citizens

so what now?

i don t know any fair non griefing way to solve this problem

is there any chance that the cap of lvl 4 cities will be removed ?

Idon t care about the shuttleport but we need more room because there are more and more people comming to our city to live here.

Or will we continue to hear that database can t take larger cities?

if that s so, plz go and do something against the cross server trades

For any solution to reduce the drag on the database, they will have to remove player housing - rather than attack citizenship rolls. Cross-server trading of lots is a by-product of allowing ppl to have more than one active account on different servers. I know MANY players who do this andactively play each one.

SOE either has to eliminate this (which I doubt they will), or we will just have to learn to live with it as it is. Allowing customers to have multiple accounts yet penalizingthem at the same time is counter-productive.

I have to agree with arthur. I do alot of cross server lot swapping. Not really for housing, but for harvs. But I log into each server at least once a week for no less than an hour.. Gives me the oppurtunity to try all the different professions out there without costing me skill points on my main character.

I would hate to lose that. Not to mention all the extra harvestors I get in the process
