Hello, I am the mayor of New Hope Metropolis, Lok, Naritus. I would like to share with you a problem we've had for many many weeks and how it got fixed.. maybe this help someone else.
PROBLEM:
I was not able to place 50 decorations in my Metropolis - at best 34-39.
HISTORY:
I am not the original mayor of New Hope, but I've been here from the beginning. I remember watching my mayor drop streetlights and statues - only to see them gone the next day. When I'd ask him about it, he'd say it was his fault, that he must have let the city maintenance drop.
When I became mayor, we grew to a metropolis, so I wanted to take advantage of it and place more decoratins, which I did.. but sooner than I expected, I started getting a error message saying our city could not handle any more decorations at our current level - which should have been 50.
I did a count - and counted again. I even make a list and broke it down by city area and type of decoration. All I could find was 34 decorations. I submitted a ticket and a nice CSR arrived and said we DID have 'issues' but that he really couldn't do much - please delete the ticket and he'd look into it.
SIDE NOTE: I did not delete the ticket - because SOE says only do that when the matter has been fully resolved. And I added a quote to that effect to my ticket and waited...
Soon another CSR came and said that he found some of my decorations - and he promptly transported me from my city on Lok - to the middle of Naboo (where too Aggro NPC's were duking it out, btw). I see before me a statue and a street light.... hmmm in the middle of no where. The CSR speaks to me and asks me to try to 'remove' theitems... I can not. - TRANSPORTED BACK TO LOK. He says he'll look into it. But he did say that he COULD move ALL the city decorations to one spot - which might help... but I'd have to redecorate.
SIDE NOTE: More than one citizen sees a map of Naboo when they are in our Lok city and call for the planetary map.
Another CSR comes in and DOES remove a few invisible items. This guy was frustrating because I was asking him to listen in certain areas of town- where you could HEAR but NOT SEE fountains or braziers... He kept telling me he his game sound was off and he was too busy listening to heavy metal music to bother. But hey.. at least he did some good.
SOLUTION:
JUMP TO THIS WEEK. After several weeks I decided to give it another go. This time I was determined to do ANYTHING... And good thing.
The new CSR came and told me he MIGHT be able to reset the town decorations IF I would pick up ALL the city decorations AND mission terminals AND trainers...However, he made it clear - THERE WAS NO GUARANTEE! Hmmm... WellI DID say I'd do anything.
After removing 69 items from a very large town - I told him to go for it. He did whatever he was doing... and reported back that he had deleted 15 invisible decorations from my city - we were back in business!!!! PROBLEM SOLVED.
Ever try to be mayor of an active, thriving Metropolis and remove all your terminals and trainers? Not a fun day, I can tell you. I sent out email and guild chat telling everyone what was going on... but dont you know it... they don't read email and constantly barraged me with where is this, where is that - can I have a trainer ASAP? Its ok.. it just proved to me how much they depend on my services.
Top it off, I was also dealing with new citizens (and new players) who needed housing, zoning rights - and I had to explain how to place a house and declare residencly.. over and over and over... ehehe you know what I'm talking about, I'm sure. The day was made GREAT that evening when a friend from another guild, city (and faction) stopped by to sing me a special song - in honor of my and my Cantina!! WOW!! Thanks Rhoda, you REALLY know how to make a guy feel special!!!!
Anyway... The city is lovelier than ever and I owe my gratitute to a CSR. Thank you!!!!

haha i decided to move my shuttle port sometime after publish 6 and they had a problem with the redeeding of city buildings.
Well, I redeeded, got my deed in inventory, lost the droid and terminals but the building remained. Since the building was still there i couldn't place another one... ie the deed I got back from trying to redeed it the first time.
So I had a useless shuttleport which no one in the city could use to leave town and alot of unhappy campers waiting for the ticket droid to rematerialze.
It got to the point where I just jumped in the building and kept doing /destroystructure until the system told me the redeed had failed.
Well the next day my shuttleport was back to normal and I had 8 shuttleport deeds in my inventory lol A CSR emailed me a few days later and said that was a known issue with the recent patch and not to try redeeding my shuttleport again

This happened to me as well (I have 14 shuttleport deeds, now). After the last patch, I WAS able to redeed the shuttle and place it exactly where I wanted it.
