There should be a benefit to the city gardens.
For example a large garden takes 5000 flora to make, it would be a really nice benefit to be able to surface sample that same resource from the garden up to the amount that was put into it a day by citizens.
Doctors could have nice dant berry gardens. Chefs could have special herb garden ingredients also etc.
I think this kind of addition to a city would be a wonderful thing to add flavor to player cities and politican.

I think thats an excellent idea but I can tell you why they wouldnt do it as well.
The entier resource market is based on the fact they resources disappear over time. If for example you made a dant garden out of the best dant berry ever found on your server then you will have just destroyed the market for dant berrie forever.
Something you could possibly get them to do is place a 100% spot of whatever the current berrie is for the week on that garden location. That way the resource will keep changing week to week but new players could travel to your gardens to do their begginers grinding of survey and get smaples for the early crafting grinds.
Thats about the only version of your idea I can think of that they could implement someday. Hehe in a galaxy far far away... called test center.

WOW, something new, that is a brillant idea. Would love to see that Maybe even make that a Garden that was only placed by a master Politician, to give the title more meaning.
PS. I want park benches
, Trash Cans, Trees. I want to build my own park in my city.

Amen to that. I want to put down plants and trees without the giant square like base they sit on. Make it look more natural.
