ijust picked up mayor tonight by majority vote. 52-37. Took alot of work. I am 1111 in polotician with as of tonight a metro and i have 2400xp saved up. Now with the 52 votes i got, i should get the xp right??? I havent received one bit, so now i am not able to move shuttle, change trainers and certain other things. Also i am guessing the city doesnt get the money from taxes untill then night they are due?!? Am I right there. If not then my city is in a tight spot. Just wondering if i am just really messed up or if there is a slight bug runnin around. thank you

Also be aware that the xp cap still applies on unused experience points, so if you stay at 1/1/1/1, you can only have a maximum of 20k xp in your points bank (I'm pretty sure its 20k but I could be wrong and it may be lower). Any accrued xp over that amount is effectively lost.

You only get Political XP from votes (100 per vote) during the week - calculated once a weekat update time. I think the update went by, you won the election and are now mayor and you already gotthe 5200 xp. You won't get the other 37votes or xp(3700), unless they vote for you also. If you retain the same 52 citizens, then each week you'll cointinue getting 5200xp - unless you lose cits.

I don't advise removing any structures until you have reachedthe politicianlevel that you can replace it. Also note, some structures require a Master to place. Some are civic and some notand some takes lots.

Depending upon the tax, it's also taken at the same time as the city update, except for the shuttle and speeder tax which is immediately applied.
