In my roleplayed role as Governor-Tyren of the Corellia Sector, I have begun undertaking some projects both of a roleplaying nature and to aid in the implementation of cities on my server.

One of the projects I have begun is an assessment of the exact nature of the player cities on the server. Are they covers for faction bases? Do the citizens consider themselves factioned? Are the cities to be the new battleground for the Civil War?

I sent out a simple survey asking for planet, city name, faction mission terminals and type. I also asked them to categorize their city as either: Truly Neutral, Covertly Loyal or Rebel, Openly Loyal or Rebel, or Rebel/Loyal with faction bases.

While the information is still coming in, the two planets I administer have very different characters...

Corellia

Player Cities: 18

Reported: 7/6

Imperial Garrisons (openly loyal, with bases): 0

Imperial Loyalists (openly loyal, no bases): 0

Covertly Loyal: 0

Truly Neutral: 1/2 (3)
Covertly Rebel:3/4 (7)
Rebel City (openly rebel, no bases):2
Rebel Stronghold (openly rebel, with bases): 1

Rebel Mission Terminals: 10
Imperial Mission Terminals: 2

The numbers after the slash indicate my own manual check of six of the non-reporting cities, based on my knowledge of the people in those cities, and the layout of their city.

Talus

Player Cities: 18

Reported: 2

Imperial Garrisons (openly loyal, with bases): 1

Imperial Loyalists (openly loyal, no bases): 0

Covertly Loyal: 1

Truly Neutral: 0
Covertly Rebel:0
Rebel City (openly rebel, no bases):0

Rebel Stronghold (openly rebel, with bases): 0

Rebel Mission Terminals: 1
Imperial Mission Terminals: 2

Talus is an Imperial player's choice for a planet, and Corellia is pretty solidly rebel.

Well I'm from Gorath and residing on Talus.

I'd be happy to work with other cities and their mayors and come up with some numbers if you'd be interested in helping yourself
