In reality if a Politician goes on a trip to another country the cost doesnt come out of his own pocket.

It would be cool for a political skill to be that he/she gets free use of all shuttle ports as part of the privilage of being a politician. The only rule that should apply is that the politician must be running a city to stop people from getting novice politician just to get free shuttle tickets.

Interesting perk. It would be of a certain practical value since Mayors do not really have a way of earning money short of skimming from the treasury.

Although mayors do tend to travel to recruit at times, I think the MAJORITY of the times a mayoris travelling is UNOFFICIALLY.

Maybe, only Master Politicians should get to travel free

Hey, and while we're at it, since I made the speeder garage - shouldn't my repairs be free too?

You know what? That is a good idea.

But I think a mayor should only get free travel on their planet.

I do think a mayor should have his vehicle repaired for free but only in his city.

Why?
well it's a nice perk
It might give people interest in trying to become mayor and thus make elections worthy of something
AND it might help out mayors interms of costs... especially if some kind of profession expands from mayor.

But yes I think you would have to be mayor and you would have to be high up in mayor... at least lvl 4 skills

While I see majority of the time, people will use it to travel around @ their own lesuire, I think it would be valuable to be able to focus on getting money from mission payout.

If we could anywhere from 5% - 10% of mission payout from the mission terminal, that would make it worth while for the city to operate more succesfully.
