ok, what me and my friends are trying to accomplish is to create a stronghold. we want to make a box of houses as walls and then inside put like a pvp arena. we obviously dont have enough lots to do it (only 7 of us) but we were thinking it might be possible to place a town hall, make half of the arena, then place the town hall again on the other side and make the other half of the arena. would these strucures placed by the city mayor be destroyed once the hall goes away?

To answer your question, No the houses will not be destroyed. You will, however, have to destroy the city hall each time. City hall can not be redeeded. You really don't need a city hall to place a bunch of houses. Each small only takes up one lot.

As Vinjar says, you dont need to place a city hall to accomplish what you are wanting to do.

The best houses that make these type of fortifications are either the Generic/Corellian Mediums or the Nabooian Mediums. Even though you can use smalls to do the same thing, the Mediums will give you a larger area for the same lot usage (2 per house).

You can use Small Nabooian houses (only take up 1 lot), but the length of them means that you will need to have at least 2 to cover the same area as a medium - sort of defeating the purpose. Its handy though to use the smalls as corner houses and the mediums as the main walls.
