Thread: Is this typical
Whether it be Typical or not, I think the xp for politician is extremely slow, and it should be that we should get at least 1500 xp per week, since this is a NO grind profession and the Mayors are solely dependent on their citizens for the xp, when some of them go inactive or quit the game, or real life happens and the xp can not be collected, that's when the devs need to step is and say, "Ok, they can't grind this xp, we have to give them something else"....give us More xp per vote and more xp per week, and take out that stupid, rank system....if you can train a box that tells you that you can register your city only to be let down with the system message that says you must be a Rank 3 in order to do this...that's just a bunch of crap.
I just started my city on the 9th of this month, and I cringed when you said it's been 6 months...Ouch and hug your mayor for me. ![]()
Good luck to all of you, and I seriousely hope the devs take a long hard look at what we go through. ![]()
It is frustrating. Last week I was pushing for people to vote that hadn't been on in a while and some guildies started to get on me for bugging them. They were under the impression that our mayor was a master it has been so long now and when I told the she still had 6 boxes to go they were amazed that something we had been consistantly working after all this time had earned us so little experience.
Originally we had planned on leveling the mayor up then pushing recruitment up for levels 3 and 4 so that as we gained citizens we could immediatly upgrade the city with the needed advancements but this plan has fallen to the wayside considering how long it is taking. If we were level 3 we could declare city specialization, we have a garage, but we still couldn't drop a med center, cantina or cloning center even if we had the people to support the city of the required level. We are in the black hole of cities. New citizens level because we don't have a shuttle/med center/cloning center. So every month we recruit new people, get them to vote and watch them leave as the city still has not advanced enough for the improvements they want to have.
Ugggghhhhh.
Ouch to all of you and I'm sorry to hear about that.
I do believe that the devs need to seriousely Look at our profession, because of stories like yours. ![]()
The Xp is way to slow and for those that aren't getting their citizens to vote, they are losing out on the xp.
I wish the devs would read all these posts and change the xp...give us more xp per week, and more xp per vote.
Heaven knows this isn't how it's done in rl.
