Thread: Broken Mission levels
To recap on the bug/feature, mission terminals in some player cities are capping out at a lower level, making grinding missions from these cities impossible. The most common cap seems to be around level 50 or so, which as you all know, means anyone with a CL of 60 more would get zero experience from these missions.
As the mayor of a city placed specifically FOR grinding missions as a guild/guild alliance, this bug is literally killing my city. It's an absolute ghost town, and without a doubt will be causing me to lose citizens shortly.
Possible contributing factors:
a) Distance from an NPC city. My city is 2900 meters from the rebel outpost on Rori. Cities that are both closer, and further are both pulling level 80 missions, so this seems an unlikely cause.
b) City size. I'm a tier 4 city, and this has been a bug reported tier 5 cities as well, so thats not a likely cause.
Any other information out there?
I'm trying to get a definitive answer on this. I'll post as soon as I know.
Hiya Kristen, and everyone, Tis I Perill, Mayor of Dark Sword.... Tonight and a few weeks ago, i installed a 2nd General Mission terminal in my city. Well all the missions i got off the 2nd terminal were ALL level 50, but our primary mission terminal gives out missions of lvls 45+ up to 82. I say primary as in the one we have been using since i was able to place them in our city. I have yet to replace that since its functioning good enough for most of my citizens and myself. (i am CL 80 for matters of speaking)
Maybe you can ask the dev's to see if there is a code not allowing 2 higher CL mission terminals? Shot in the dark but you know.. the question not asked is the question that should have been..
and ask our other city mayors if they have multiple general mission terminals..see hwat happens.. couldn't hurt but lose the 1000 credits to drop it..

I have been speaking with my sister who is mayor of her town on Bria, thier city dwells on the same patch of land as the city I am mayor of on Shadowfire... coincidence? i don't know..
well she tells me her citizens are stuck with level 50 missions from the regular terminals, but if they go inside one of the GCW bases to use those mission terminals they get higher level missions, but I have no problem getting missions from lvl 45-82, i don't know if any of this can help the developers fix the problem but ... If i put up a 2nd terminal, that terminal only adminsters lvl 50 missions.. none 49 none 51..

It seems that mission terminals placed prior to some changes are listing missions at cap of 82, but terminals dropped after - cap at level 55, I made some tests recently on Rori, placing city on different places (Yes I used up a few city halls for that) and dropped terminals on different locations (all were capping at CL55).
That's been the conclusion I've been coming to as well. Newly placed terminals are capping while the older ones aren't. Something was changed to cap the mission levels, but it didn't apply retroactively is my guess. Still waiting to hear more from above.
Mission levels shouldn't cap at specific to planet levels in player cities, that would makesignifficant discontend among the long established communities. I think this issue is very touchy and needs immediate attention. If mayors decide to reallocate their mission terminals, according to new city planning, they may end up with low level missions lissting terminals (not knowing in advance about it).

I'm sorry but for us this is not correct. All but one of our mission terminals date back to when our mayor could place them post the original Player Cities Publish. The Non-BH terminals give the same levels. Imp or regular. Newly placed ones have the same level cap of 60.

I have to disagree with the "newly placed terminals" theory as well.
Our mission terminals are as old as could possibly be, and have the problem with level caps.
Getting this fixed would be groovy.
