since yesterdays patch alot of things are bugged... you may have noticed different things happening...

at master pol you get 2 "double specializations" which combine 2 different specializations from the other skill trees. not your choice they are static.

Maybe master politician will be a prerequisite for Novice Governor or Novice Senator or something coming in the Space Expansion. Or maybe they plan to add a new skill "/givestateoftheunionaddress" which incaps everyone in a 5000m radius who is not your faction due to boredom?

Well considering that our only source of xp has stopped giving xp and considering that their going to be bribing our citizens to withold our xp (possibly), I don't think you'll have much to worry about with master politician. You're lucky to get any skill boxes at all or be able to do anything at all with your city, being that they dont' bother to award or reimburse experience from elections.

Well, I hope to make Master Politician in a couple of weeks, and I'll let you know... Rumour has it that they will be able to place a Starport and have extra roles with the up-and-coming space extension.

I will be wearing my badge with pride, and I've actually decided to drop Master Merchant for Master Politician because it is so much fun.

Erm.. I just happened to check out the Master Politician block today for some reason.. (boredom running rampant perhaps?) and there's absolutely nothing gained at Master Politician at this time.

Now call me ol' fashioned... but why on earth someone would spent 6 points and 620 Apprentice Points for nothing more than a "badge" completely escapes me.

I dunno... I'm at a loss... I know I'll probably go for Master Politician just because... but **edit**... losing those two-way specializations for Master seems to make me reconsider keeping my points for other things.

I'm almost sure it allows you to take the dual city specializations?

Yup, I haven't heard rumors, but my gut fealing is that Master Politician will be super awesome as SWG expands more.

Novice Senator sounds totally plausible. Perhaps each planet will get its own governing body made up of Master Polits. I would love that.

I was once thinking of reaching Master and dropping it to try other things, but I love it so much now that I will be keeping it for the duration of my time playing the game

But senator will probly not be something to be, will remember that a certain emperor dropped the imperial senate..

Point is - there USED to be two combined specializations listed that you would gain at Master Politiican rank - now, the abilities granted box is EMPTY. It wasn't like that pre-patch... So are the devs getting rid of those specializations or what?
