Thread: Politician as Content Provider
We essentially provide the functionof aStage Prop Manager. The current skills at our disposal allow us to lay the foundation for a story that we can develop and help differentiateour cities from NPC cities.
Our Metropolis is currently laying the groundwork for an over-arching storyline with some branches of subplot. I did alot of this back in my old UO (Ultima Online) days. It was very easy because we had 5 slots to play with and create actor "NPCs" to help the story along.
Being able to build non-griefable content and story lines with GM-like NPC spawn tools would be fantastic.Isn't this the direction the political skill should go?
You're dreaming of tools you don't have and probably won't have.

We really do need the tools to do this with . . . working /citywarn, some way to remove problem players whose only goal is to disrupt city life . . . other little things, like an entrance message for the city or a city description off of the city hall sign would be wonderful so we could set the city tone.
