Thread: An idea for city protection

Well since we no longer have the militia and yet spawns still occur closeby )well for me anyhow( not to mention raids how about an option given out in the martial tree that lets us choose an NPC force that will always spawn and within city limits. It would be imp, rebel, or...CorSec, RSF, Jabba, Nym, et. al. That way if you get invaded you have people that can actually help without having to group up (or declare at a base) Plus it will help with some spawns and make things a little more interesting.


I get marauders at the outskirts of our brand new Outpost semi often since the area always had tons of red cons so I'd like to prove how tough I am on crime without having to go out and kill them all the time. I mean what are minions for? The only thing would be requiring the mayor have and keep good standing with the faction that is in town. Preferably the whole town would need to average out to between -2000+ but that would be difficult so as long as the mayor stays above +2000. Meaning that imperial towns can't have free FP off of rebel soldiers whenever unless they elect a rebel mayor but they'd be at a disadvantage during raids. As for the jabba or nym ones...well those guys don't give the best xp so why bother with that.


Just an idea...commence ripping it apart.
