Just wanted to know from my fellow mayors, what is your prefered planet for Player Cities? In other words where did you set up your city and why do you like it? Or why dont you like it?

I prefer Lok, its a nice planet for a player city as it is full of Variety. There are flat lands, high plateus, deep crevices, sharp cliffs and green sulfur rivers! I sett my city about 1300m north of Nym's Stronghold. Up there is is stationed on a big Plateu. This Plateu sort of stretchs along the entire map in ctrl V. There is plenty of flat land and the crevices there are perfect for small houses making an excellent view. If you are on Bloodfin anf you want to see my Township look for Stormdeen on crtl v.

I like Rori. My guild hunts there often. I found a great place 7k m from narmle starport, about 1400 m from a force shrine. It takes a long time to get to the city... on foot would be tidious... but when we get a shuttle port, it would be well worth it.

don't know how to edit posts... but...

I forgot to mention why i like it, haha.

Totorons! Slow dumb animals that look like a giant turtle. Good for hunting, but takes a while to get good levels with them as they spawn in low groups. The area i picked on Rori has small mountains and looks like a road area. Most of rori is water and hills, so its hard to build up a city there... you can have 20 player cities, and something about like 10 level 5 cities, and the server i am on, hasn't reached that yet, with only a few cities on the map, that I don't even think are runing anymore. So when we finaly get that round up goin' on, I will probably be the only player city on the planet!

Naboo,

load into the Lake retreat and headEast Northeast into the mountains. As you cross the mountains and head down into the valley...that would be the Valley of Kintan. You will see why we all like it.

A huge plain stretches out below tree covered mountains. Two wining rivers flow through and make up our East and West edges of the city.

In fact, the valley is so popular, on Radiant, we have 4 lvl5 cities in it. All Southeast of Theed. Five lvl5 cities if you count the one most Northwest that is on the valley edge.

Each city has its own style, and vendors...no reason to leave Naboo...or the area around Theed for that matter!

My city is on Lok, but I hate it.

I would love to be on Naboo, it's much prettier there. Too bad it's capped.

Early in teh game, all the planets were buildable. There is a small house on Radiant that is near the Rancor valley that remains from back when that was possible. I dont see them doing it, but I would like to see them open areas like within 1000m of an outpost on some of those planets to be buildable, but not allow vendors so that they dont become jsut a marketing ploy, but can still have the frontiers feel.

Naboo!!!!

The planet is green.. Also, Theed is the coolest city. The Med Ctr, Cloning,Cantina are all with in seconds from the Spaceport. Our city on Naboo is dead center on the map...no other city is even close to us. We've been there since the first month of the game. It was a trek to Theed and Keren back in the day before mounts...used to be about a 8min run/walk.

Naboo's georgeousnorthernbeaches by far are the best in game. I wish it was on the southern coast too, as the northern is sooo cluttered. I like Naboo'sgreen fields as well, and love the way schi fi meets classical archecture. Naboo by far is the prettiest planet.

But I do like the desert quailities of Tatooine and Lok. Tattooine for the North African feel and Lok for the American South West feel (though hate the piss colouredacid rivers). I like the pine forested mountain of Corellia more then Corellia's corn-yellow fields.

Of corse I would prefer to build on Endor, as it seems the most diverse planet with luch forest, lakes, and a northern desert. That kind of planetary mix seems best. And Yavin.... can anyone tell me for sure... were they not considering and almost allowed player cities on Yavin, and might they again? Yavin has the lushness of Naboo but absolutly no central government, so room for a frountieer role play city.

For me, Dantooine is the worst planet and I hate going there.... not because of the savanah theme akin to East Africa (and I love the Dantari!), but because of the purple!!! I love the colour but it seems tooooo overpowering on that planet.

I would never visit Dathomir if not for the village

my three cents anyway

I personally like Dantooine. It's not as green as Naboo, but it does have a splash of green. I REALLY like the purple, only because it helps me place myself in a sci-fi mood, and not a better homes and gardens picturesque place like Naboo. I've never been terribly partial to Lok. I don't like only having one starport there. I "grew up" on Tatooine though, and I do miss the place at times. Great place to grind though

I like Dant. 3 starports (4 if you're a rebel and unlock the extra one), beautiful landscape, indigenous people, diverse mobs to view/fight.

Corellia, if you don't know why that world is the best you haven't read much EU

The only problems with it are the patchwork trenches and abhorrent architecture but the sky, the scenery, the locales available are all perfect. Agrilat Swamplands, some of the islands, a crystal arch in the SE, or the 3 big mesa's near the middle of the map make perfect city spots for interest.

Talus for my city. Purple look nice scenery. Located near nashall. Very non factional city. Has a very hideout kinda feel to it.

If you fly straight down the river out of nashall you run smack into my town.

Aakuan missions to run. Beladonnas to kill. Plus the imp outpost on talus is the coolest.

The OP is asking for our individual opinions. I'm going to offer other perhaps more useful information.

On Kettemoor the three player cities with the highest population are all on Naboo. All three have been where they are since the first day of player cities almost two years ago.

There are no cities on Lok, Rori or Talus that are more than a year old that I know of. If this is not the case I would appreciate being corrected.
