Thread: decorate city hall?

Hi all, I finally got my city after the third attemp, and now I want to decorate my city hall to impress potential citizens. The city is a rebel guild city on Correllia near the beach.
Can anyone give me some ideas for decorating a city hall? I'm looking for something a little bit more impressive than rows and rows of empty seats, but still semi-proffessional looking. I'm desperate for ideas! I even went so far and suspended a glowing asteroid in the middle of ceiling just for something different (and yes its ugly LOL). thanks if anyone replies to this.

Create a chessboard with white end tables and ottomans. I saw that in J'vee's city hall on Flurry before it poofed.

The stage in main hall is the only place within a player city that is large enough for entertainers to actually entertain. On the stage of a theater or within a cantina, dancers have hardly enough room to perform a show.
The floor itsself is large enough for a ball - the only other place inside a building in SWG where this is possible is the palace of Theed.

Multiple uses for the main area taht you can use. I made a big and detailed terrarium before (using a rectangular fountain as well for a stream) and currently I'm going to produce a large colonade in the center area with factional seating and tables, tons of plants, a few cats, etc. to look similar to a suspended garden. Try and come up with some sort of theme for it and then just keep enlarging it. For a rebel only town you could make it into a war room feel or similar.

well i'm currently working on redecorating fort storms city hall as it has not been changed in about a year :/
Does anyone have and screenshots of their city halls where i can stea.... umm, i mean BORROW idea's from?

The 'decorator' link in my sig takes you to my old site (still working on the updated one with new jobs) and it shows the bigass terrarium I was talking about. It's geocities so...don't laugh too hard.

Breed an asteroid pet.... That's what i did....
Lots of people come to see our asteroid pet in the cityhall and how his life is going on.
I often bring our asteroid pet new friend.... And citizens come to see the new friends.
And then go to vote for me.
And to be sure that they will find the voting terminal, i made it shine, plugin a glowstick inside of it
yellow light coming from the voting terminal is sweet and everyone asks me how i managed to make this light. I always answer that it's one of the undocumented mayor's powers... And the, they begin to fear me, wondering what the other undocumented mayor's power are....

Cool ideas! I've already started leaning toward the rebel war theme, collecting faction furniture and such. I threw a hero fountian under the asteroid to hold it up for now and to take up space. Or I may recreate my double decker aquarium that you can see here from my old gh.

I actually have Pictures of my City hall and from what I have been told, it's one of the Most impressive one's on my server. /shrug. I decourated it simple, with Coloured Crystals and made my Office the way I like it. 
I will attempt to place the Screenshots here.
