Thread: City question
Ok I have seen discussions on stuctures, taxes, militia, and even faction bases, but I have yet seen a suggestion or a comment on NPC citizens. Will there be any if not , why not? Already NPC Cities are ghost towns from lack of PCs but will the PC Cities be worse? Will we have an option to add NPC citizens or will there be added to the area randomly depending on the level a city is at? Other than Terminals will there be NPCs with missions? Would the Devs be willing to rotate a NPC mission amoung the cities every week or every two weeks to get ppl to venture into these PC cities? I would love to see a unique mission NPC sprout up in my city making more ppl want to come to us even for a short time to do the unique mission or to get that really kool and rare item.
Any thoughts on this.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I like the idea.
At the least there will be the trainer NPCs Mayors will be able to attract to the city... Civic Policy III - Education.
Hope there's more than that though! Would be nice to add a little extra life.

Thanks for everyones inputso farbut does anyone have any other options. Other than new building types and/or better building perks for getting people into your cities to live or to just visit on a regularbasis? Oh btw does anyone think it would be feesible or disireable to have related Trainersin a Guild HAll like they arein NPC Cities( Combat related in a combat Guild) etc. Other than having someone to set a GH down will there ever be a building that would come complete with trainers?
Also has anyone thought of having a Hotel or Apartment/Condo style complex to "pack" more ppl into a small space. If these were possible structures they could be privately or city owned, there would be "rateperday" like taxes thatwould be charged to the persons bank account that is occupying the room if the money runs out they are given 1 week to gather theirstuff up or lose it all and be ejected from the room. This would give more citizens "Prime Realestate" inside the cities also freeing up more space for shops andCivic Structures within the city limits. Of course this all mightget over looked or take a long time to implement but I think that they could be feasable from many stand points.
Hello,
Youdo notautomatically gain the metropolis-levelskills, and the city also does not go down. City services will remain at their existing levels until you gain enough politician skills to change them.
