didn't know where to post this here or in the pa forum, but i'm sure someone can help. this is kinda an odd problem, i occasionally get emails on the election results from a town i lived in over a year ago. i left that town, joined another guild and that guild broke up. i figured after leaving the 2nd guild maybe the mail system would reset itself and i wouldn't get these mails anymore if that was the problem, but i got one again last nite.

real question is, do i need to contact my old guild or put in a bug report? keep in mind, i don't get them at ever voting cycle.

Is it guild elections or city elections you're getting e-mails about?

If it's city elections, go check the City Management Terminal in your old city and see if it still has you listed as a resident. You can choose to "Revoke Citizenship" if it does.

If it's guild elections from a guild you are no longer a part of, check with the old guild to see if you are still listed for some reason. Once you know, file a /bug report on it. If you continue to receive e-mails (or you're listed in 2 guilds) then you'll also want a CSR ticket ("Submit a Ticket" from the in-game Holocron) to get it cleared up for you.

Guilds and cities are not tied to each other, so it's important to know which system is causing the issue.

i might have the 2 confused, but i get the mayor election notices. when i moved i was able to reset my residency to the new planet i moved to. is it possible to be a resident at 2 places at 1 time?? thanks for the help

There is a bug that allows this. If it's city mails, all you should have to do is go to the old city and "Revoke Citizenship" from the terminal in City Hall.
