New Unity, Naboo, Test Center

Things are going well here in the beautiful city by the sea Some of our citizens moved to our sister city (Emerald City on Dantooine, started by one of our guild members), so I'm expecting a drop of citizens some time soon, but this shouldn't be a proble to our city rank. I haven't been to EC yet myself, mayoring and rl stuff keeps me stationary in NU, usually sitting in a corner of a garden either chatting or working.

I'm still waiting for the traffic to die down before accepting citizenship applications, although i don't hear back from most of the people i email information to. The increase in traffic is certainly nice, but my workload goes up as well. I've spent a lot of time in the cantina chatting with new people, as well as keeping the city in order.

speaking of cantina, our tavern owner ahsidh set up a few new rules regarding afk and such that made me happy we now have designated "afk alcoves" to the side, and the floor is reserved for atk entertainers. most of our visitors observe the rules, and we've had minimal problems

our citizens are doing well (mostly, there are always conflicts), our treasury is doing well, and there goes another week in NU how are your cities?

I finally got a city up and running and this was a long road for me. I had to dig my way out of neg5000 rebel faction and once I did that I placed the town hall backwards however we picked a new one up for only 50k and now we have our 10 citizens and we are up rolling

It's a small rebel/nuetral city on Naboo, Starsider and this will be my first experiance as a politican and I'm looking forward to it

We just moved our city from atop a beautiful plateau with hardly any buildable room (which is why we had to move) across Corellia to an interesting POI that was surprisingly barren of any form of structure. So after a few weeks of growth Arcadia will become a beautiful and prospering city. Coronet will no longer be the Jewel of the system

Sanctuary continues to prosper with its population stabilized at 65. Our senior guild leaders have returned and we are revamping the city to meet the needs of the players of Dantooine.

We've shifted our city specialization to Improved Job Market to better make use of the 15% bonus on the already high paying missions of Dantooine.

We've remodeled our Shopping Building into a second Cantina with the vendors done as NPCs within the space.

We've tenatively reentered the GCW with a Forward Outpost in the city that carries no defensive obligations, simply a convenience for the presence of a Rebel Recruiter.

Traffic in the city has been up and looks to continue to remain steady as we continue to make the most of the tools in hand to move forward.

I took a 2-week break from SWG after helping managing a fantastic 1-week event-spectacular in our city (each day 2-3 events) ... which unfortunatly burned me and a few other organisers out completly ... so just a tip: Don't overdo it with events

Now I'm itching for SWG and my city again, but I have to say the effort in creating a good city council and relativly active city militia has payed out as city business didn't decline, rather even more citizens moved in and enrichend our city - our once rather barren market place is getting filled with full merchant tents once again - we even got a second cantina for the northern "hutt" part of the city - and an assasination event (I was murdered!) between ours and the neighbouring city (or a PA and several citizens of it) is causing some fun for the militia to solve the mystory of the forces behind the attack

Problem:
Sales Taxes seemed to not go into the city treasury, so we had to turn them off - the city was planed to earn money through moderate 3% sales tax (with all the vendors and shoping in town we should even be able to push it down to 1 or 2% if we would be getting money :/). Haven't had a chance to test it again since - and testing will probably anger the merchants again if not successfull (I think they like 0% taxes )

Rauha, Naboo (Starsider)

Not much new going on in our city...

...'cept somehow we made it to Rank 5, when there were already, so we thought, 5 other rank 5's on the planet. We are totally happy and thrilled to be this rank, even though to us it only means a little more radius. But, it did enfold some campers on our borders, so we'll see what effect that has on our internal politics.

We also recently held our town council elections, and I am happy to be serving the city once again as a councilmember.

Also, an impromptu group took down 2.5 peko peko albatrosses on the northern border of our city. A great bonding experience, as it was across the 3 guilds that are resident in our city, with no preplanning whatsoever. We just all worked together and got a feather, which went to one of the guildmembers by mutual agreement.

Avatar City, Dantooine, Tarquinas is about to expand into a Metropolis. We've seen increasing traffic due to the Improved Job Market we have there, as well as two other Imperial guilds joining the ranks of our citizens.

Along with our super-low taxation, more and more people are wanting to join. It's definately a golden age.

Our city (Utkata, Talus) is growing rapidly, and we're just a few people short of the next level. We had a major catastrophe yesterday, our guild hall poofed. It will be replaced, but my co-guildleader is very depressed as they will not be replacing his items that were in it. He's a collector, and many of them were very rare items / quest items. Sooo.. good and bad this week. I'm hoping they decide to reimburse him for the items.

Rest in Peace
