Thread: City Income Tax question: When?

I haven't been mayor of our city for several months, but I do follow as closely as I can.
Recently we are trying to nail down our income per week... so we have been letting our treasury drop to bare minimum to meet costs when city updates. about 650k.
What makes it very difficult is that city income tax comes out at 'seemingly' random times. For example.. our city updates in 21 hours.. but I just got charged for city income tax.
I'm sure there must be others out there who have dealt with this. How is it determined when it is taken? Our citizenry is about 87 so that is 164k credits.. .but since yesterday, i only see an increase in treasury of about 40k.
Does it not all get taken from citizens at once?
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. We need to be able to better plan our taxes based upon average income and these odd fluctuations are not helping. We really need to know when the taxes are going to be in the treasury,

I may be wrong but I am pretty sure I read somewhere that the income tax from citizens comes out a week in relation to the date and time they became a citizen rather than all together in one billing process.

This is Large Marge here K'vera! Good to hear from you. That helps greatly. I was wondering why my income tax seemed to shift days over time. That really explains it well.
*Secretly I'm trying to avoid income tax /evilgrin
actually so is our mayor just so we can test it. Has anyone ever gotten an email about a citizen not having paid city income tax?
