Thread: Cross server exchanges right?
- Not hamper the gameplay of people playing one character.
- Not hamper the casual gamer.
I came to the conclusion that lots must be allocated in a different way.
Simplest idea that comes to mind would be to make lot allocation per account. There would be some formula that would add lots to your account usable on one server only.
The idea is that by having one character on a server, he gets to use whatever account lots are unused.
This will overall reduce the numer of lots someone who plays more than one character can use, but it will negate ghost citizens to the extent of how much people need their lots on their native server, and will stop those huge harvester farms we see everywhere.
The casual gamer playing one character won't see a difference, and that was the point of this proposal. Yes, people who farm lots will whine, but they're circumventing a game system anyway. A way to mitigate this would be to allow more than 10 lots but it might get out of whack.
Uh, 80 lots??? Make that 10 lots and you're right. 80 lots on the same server would be stupid. Plus it wouldn't change anything as far as ghost citizens are concerned. So you just can divide up your lots the way you want isn't the point. You get 10 lots for your account and this is it. That's enough for one large and two medium houses across all servers, or if you play on only one server it doesn't change a **edit** thing to you.
Sure, the hardcoregamers will yell, so what?
