One of the things I findvery annoyingin SWG is the complete absence of a unique role in the GCW for each and every profession.
As politicians, the domestic leaders of the Empire and the Rebellion, shouldn't we receive some kind of bonuses that adequately reward our great service? We are the ones that administer the vast majority of territory in the game. We are theprofession that people should be looking to for leadership.
Lets make thepolitician much more than a city decorator, please post your ideas here.

I agree to an extent. I would like to see a global election for the planet. The winner would then become the supreme chancelor of the planet.All people on the planet can vote if they are declare a residenet of the planet. Then that person wil have certain rights to the planetary structurs and can participate in the GCW, depending on his or her faction if any. This would also encourage players to get involved in the cities and give them a goal of planetary domination..I mean leadership../wink..lol I think that woudl be very cool.

id go for the planetary election thing....
one condition tho
BH's must have the ability to make an attempt on his life for high amounts of cash, say equal to the current jedi payout...
he he j/k about assination bit
(didnt mean to make all you politicians nurvous)
it does seem like a neat idea, more content is always a good thing

Yes.. I think it would be very cool.. never see it, its too neat of an idea and probably to hard to get into the game at this point. That would be a great election and debate. Would have to make it open to only master politicians, that way you would have seasoned vets as your dictator...I mean leader...lol

How about the imperials could elect a planetwide moff and the rebels can elect a planetwide surface marshal?
It would be cool if both these positions could alter the spawn of "random" NPC attacks on opposition held territory. For instance, the moff could draw large red arrows on the map pointing to known rebel territories and over a time interval a stormtrooper squad would move in to harass the populace.

hmmm... yes that could be interesting, but not likely. I could see a dictatorship..I mean supreme chancelor../wink after the election, and then they could get specialfaction perks, or a special role in a GCW quest. Something like that.

Not only that, I think there should be an option on the "City Management Terminal" that says "Mayoral Salary"!
We are the only one profession in the game that doesn't have a direct way to make cash! Think about it...

Awesome I am for this as well..As Master Politician I wouldn't mind be trying to assinate me. Sounds fun.
