So I am Mayor of my city. In a few weeks I will reach Master Politician. At that time I have already decided that I will be resigning as Mayor, to let some one else follow this path. Now, how do I go about doing that? The transfering of power. I will have to send out countless emails to my citizens prodding them to vote in the new Mayor. Seems like a big fuss, and a waste of time to me. There should be a way for a Mayor to take themself out of the running for the next election. So one of the other folks running can win the election, andby default if needed.

Just my thoughts, let me know what you think.

I believe there is a fix in the works where if there is someone running agaisnt you in an election, you have the option to resign.

Not exactly sure though...
