I got an email back from a CSR today. He told me "the devs are aware and are working on it". So, we (those of us who have this problem) have step one done -- Dev Awareness.

Now, step two...I'm not sure how many of us are having this problem, but a reply here may get Bajeezus' attn enough to pester the devs about it. Baj, only you know how high this will rank in the "big picture" but some help on this would be appreciated!

P.S. After 2 "there's nothing we can do" responses with the in-game tickets, I got one back that said basically the same thing "they're aware and working to fix."

We are having this same problem in Imperia on Naboo on the Kettemoor server. We will also be the largest population on Naboo by tomorrow. There currently only 2 other Metros on Naboo at this time so we would not even be going over a level 5 cap of 3 per planet if that is indeed the case.

I know this sounds good and all, but I hate to be the one to rain on this but I have gotten this cookie-cutter response so many times i ran out of fingers and toes to count on. The first time i got this response was about over a month ago and I still got the bug I initially reported. I have reported several recurring bugs since then only to receive the same response with the bugs still happening.

Now I am not one of the people that says i am gonna quit the game if these bugs don't get fixed, heck i got 4 accounts now,i am just saying don't get to excited over the reply you got.

I actually got 2 "hopeful" responses.. and one "tough noogies" response..

But the suggestion I made apparently made some sense.

You at least are at level 4. Count your blessings.

From a CSR I've been speaking with, dated today (Friday Jan 16), after I asked him if something had been done that allowed the first "stuck" city to grow finally recently (see other thread):

I did research this before I responded. There hasn't been a push to fix this yet. It is possible that the responses on the forums were from cities that
were allowed to grow because other cities shrunk. Development has not
addressed this issue as of yet. But are planning to ASAP.

So... sounds to me like help is coming, but nothing has been done yet.

I too am about to go to level 5 (or at least I thought I was). But as I have been reading this is still bugged. It's not that I'm in a huge rush to gain 50 meters but as Politicians are concerned this is one of the limited things we can do and I hope this is taken care of very soon.

I noticed too that Krayt City, Tatooine, Eclipse didn't move up to Metropolis either. For a couple days, I figured that one of the newer cities got it before us, but then I did the math, and realized that was an impossibility.

I've sent in a /bug, is there anything else I should do?

Asylum City on Naboo... same situation.... Didnt update to Metropolis.

It seems they arent interested in actualy updating us manualy, even though they KNOW its a bug.

Crossing fingers seems to be about the only thing we can do... and not for the first time.

I think the way this works is that if there are 10 cities level 4 and above, no level 3 OR 4 city will grow.

Given my observance of the city growth process, I personally wouldn't trust my city to a "manual" growth process and it technically isn't possible.

I think the only way our level 4 cities will grow anytime in the near future is if the total level 4 and 5 count drops below the cap.
