Why will your city hall self destruct? If it's at 100% you're ok. If it's not, pay some maintenance on it.

Or did I miss something? I'm not understanding why you think it will implode.

well first if you city hall is in the state were the mantinace can not pay for it then yes your in trouble. That is why the mayor sets tax's. Part of the job of mayor is setting the city to be able to pay for it self. Most people dont want to pay tax's but like I told our city "ya you are all willing to donate now but what happens when you dont have it when we need it". So I set the tax's, I've rasied them when needed and lowered them when there was a surpluse. That is part of being mayor, and if your mayor is not doing his job it is your job to vote him out. Your city should pay for itself with tax's, donations are great, but if you dont have the tax's set to cover the city (such as a mayor on the run) then you need to put a new mayor in office. If he says it is costing him to much or asking for money then there is a problum and he does not know how to run a city or be mayor. Vote his ass out and fast, this is what this polition thing is all about people. I keep hering oh what do we do ar mayor ran off, our mayor did this. It is politics, and that is why the profection is called "polition" not mayor.

If your city does not have it paying for itself then you need a new mayor.
If you can never get ahold of your mayor because of this or that, "oh sorry I'm always hunting" then you need a new mayor.
If you never see your mayor online then you need a new mayor.
If you keep sending tells to your mayor and he never resonds then you need a new mayor.

I can keep going on, bottom line if you have a problum with your city or mayor run agains them....

That is why we have weekly elections...

dontate money to your treasury. But it sounds like that guy is a jerk, so he might just pull the deed if you save the hall from selfdestruct.

I would also suggest putting cash into the treasury box, pronto. The hall won't implode until the update..and that's only if there's no money (or less than 10 citizens).

Taxes paying for all expenses would be nice.. but it realistically does't happen if you've got a full plate. Bare bones city that's not paying for anything else, sure.. but add all those little nicities like banks and shuttleports, and it gets expensive.

BTW, you can't re-deed a city hall. It's like a faction base.. all or nothing. So if you choose "destroy structure" at the City Hall structure terminal, that's exactly what you'll do.

Welp we found enough funds to save the hall. Now all we have to do is is vote me in currently i have 11 votes and the mayor has 57 by default. Guess i need to rock the vote. I found out last nigh that 13 of our citizens dont even play on our server. LOL Im seriously thinking about starting a city from scratch and bringing the people who care with me.

well by your last post that is what i would do. you will have a hard time getting in as mayor. and if you keep putting money in to keep the city hall up till you do win mayor he could come in at anytime and withdraw the money and take out the city hall. so it is a loose loose situations to stay there. good luck you need it.
