I've been a mayor for a while now and I'm honestly getting really bored with it as a profession, I mean theres only so many lamps and gardens you can place.............

I think to spice things up a bit, Mayors should have diplomatic immunity to weapon/spice checks and if a mayor is involved in a faction and is a Colonel, they should be able to command more than 1 faction pet, I mean if we have the power call upon the militia, as a Colonel and Mayor, we should have the ability to call upon more than 1 faction pet within city limits..............I mean we are Mayors, we deserve some kinda Offensive power! Maybe they could even add a special bonus to bases placed within city limits, if the mayor of that city is also a Colonel, the bases should also be granted some special bonuses like more NPC spawns or an added AT-ST or something like that...........

thoughts or imrovements?

Agree. I love this profession, great as roleplayer. But devs must add more content for mayors and politicians no mayor. For example, politician mission terminals (for killing some other politician for example, deliver, dont know , but add something for getting money, faction points and politician exp different to being voted). Politician elite professions would be great too, create al senate (in the empire wasnt senate but somethig similar where mayors and politicians could go an decide the future of the galaxy ). Make politicians an special profesion as jedi, with an important mission in the GCW. What about politicians hunt? For ex: the bases of a city whose mayor has never been could have NPCs stronger than the bases of the cities where politicians have been killed. And could be a politician assasin profession, specialiced in killing that mayors with a similar system as BH-Jedi.

Politican is funny and can become a better profession with a big impact in GCW. Devs, game is becoming better, but don´t forget politicians! (mayors and not mayors).

Salute .

I really don't like the idea of being assassinated for no reason. This profession sucks up a lot of skill points, and not all mayorsuse whats left forcombat professions. Unlike jedi, we can't all defend ourselves, and would not be as even of a fight as Jedi vs. BH. I shouldn't have to give up dancer for riflemen just because I'm a mayor. There really should be more to being a mayor, and we'll get them when they revamp cities ( if we live that long in RL ), but politician is a support class. They don't have a specific profession to kill entertainer or medics. Unless they put in some serious combat skills in our profession, the assassination thing will really ruin my gameplay experience. I'm the mayor of a city affiliated with the one of the most hated guilds on my server. I'd get killed at least 5 times a day. And anyone who would choose to be a profession that's sole purpose is to prey on defenseless mayors, probably "roleplays" / is an a$$h0le, so that would bump my per day death count to at least 10-15. Hell, while were at it, lets make city halls destoyable like bases. This way I have to stay up late to defend my city hall AND get up early to reset the shuttle fee.

Another thing that could fit in this Diplomatic Immunity idea: immunity to the /cityban command if you are a mayor. This way politicians could work as kind of spies in the GCW, with easier access to enemy cities where non politicians would be banned.

ButMorer, the only reason we are here is because we hope it will change... otherwise we wouldn't bother swinging by and reading the posts....

I think we all know how large of a difference an active mayor can make, and we are very pleased to be able to take on that role....

I know I am happy with it, and see a lot of potential for improvement.
