Thread: And, now a word about our NEW Correspondent...

Guys,
Could we rally together please and get some support to request who our new correspondent is? Since the announcement of Baj's retirement, we've seen many aspiring correspondents stir these forums up.... we've also seen a request from TH for those who would like to adopt this role... but I've not seen any post from ANYONE telling us...
A decision is coming.... on ....?

unfortunately, i think a lot of devs are at E3... guess we'll just have to wait

TH did announce four other correspondent openinings for other professions when he announced ours. I would assume that all of them would be selected at the same time. I would imagine there isa lot of work to do at and prepare for at E3, so that what is causing the hold up.
speaking of E3 i did hear mention of Space stations, ill have to look up where i saw that.

yeah, there are 6 openings atm (most openings at once, second time it happened), and TH's been gone with the other forum-regular devs since Friday afternoon.

TH is in charge of the Correspondent Program, and he is out of the office for E3. As are most of the regular forum devs, as Pappi has said.
You aren't the only ones missing a Corre, some profs have been without for quite some time now.
Don't worry, there will be some appointments made. Could be as early as next week, could take a bit of time(TH has to go through all the applicants and whatnot).
Just a little more patience, folks

My finals were over a week ago. I'd be there now if it wasn't for the outrageous price of airfaires (and gas for that matter) and the lowsy guards.

Thanks for all the responses...
I am assuming that when E3 is over, and the Devs are 'home' again, we could expect some kind of announcement for a time frame on when the new Correspondent will be announced.
Anyone care to wager when this will be?

i've heard there are mayors that pay for their city... or people buying cities. personally, mayoring is a full time job, and i rarely log onto another character to hunt/make money/etc, so i live on entertainer tips (mostly from friends). double whammy O.o

I was rich before I became Mayor...dropped the first 2.5 mill into the treasury, then another 4 mill later on before I retired.
It's easy being a Mayor when you have money already...making money as mayor, however, is another story altogether
