Well why not go on a sightseeing trip and check out the other cities on your server? Go and see some of the thingsother mayorshave done with their cities - have a look at the layouts, the decorations, the local attractions, how the city interacts with the local environment, etc. Go out and get some ideas - maybe even introduce yourself to the local mayor, exchange notes, chew the fat get some ideas (or maybe even offer some of your own ).

And then once you have done that,go and see how they do things on other servers.

I have for a little while now and have seen some absolutely brilliant cities - the ones where you ride or run around and think to yourself "oh heck, now why didn't I think of that". Mind you, I have also seen some other cities that are just all over the place, built in areas that are restrictive or laidout in ways that just make you go "yuck, why did they do THAT!!".

Oh and a word of advice to those that like to decorate their City Halls - fountains belong outside - not in the middle of the City Hall (unless its part of a feature display of course).

So give it a try, its fun to do and some of the things that you will see will blow your mind (or numb your senses )
