Okay, I'm a citizen/member of a PA/City on Tatooine. Our mayor left the game several weeks ago, and since that time we lost our status as city and lost our shuttleport. The assigned militia of the city are inactive as well, signing on every few weeks for minutes at a time. We want a new Mayor into the city so we can add more people to the city and expand to get a shuttleport back, however the number of inactive citizens outweigh the current active citizens so therefore to outvote the mayor is nigh impossible. Is there anyway we can get rid of the incumberent Mayor?

I see my options as waiting until the Town hall explodes to set down a new one.

Is there a 6 week inactive citizen policy that removes citizens that have inactive accounts ? And if there is does it apply to the mayor?

There is no other way other than to get citizens to vote more than 50% for the new mayor. You could get one of the militia to grant permission for 24 hours to some people, then they could place temp houses which new citizens could fill up to increase your active population. Also send emails to all citizens yourself advising of the situtation and encouraging everyone to vote... and keep sending emails (get list from terminal in city hall) Those inactive/once every two week players may just log in briefly and might vote to help out.

You can also send a 1 credit tip to every citizen listed and at least know who is logging in (you will get email when they do log in and the one credit tip is delivered to them) With this, you will at least have an true idea of who is logging in or not.

Let everyone know how important this is. During voting week when you are making this 'major push' have as many people in town as possible, as much as possible to coax/harrass all your other citizens to get their butts to city hall and vote. Be sure to add all the citizens (even inactives) to your friends list so you can see them log in. If they do, send a tell and let them know you need their vote.

It still may not be possible to meet the 50%, but with alot of effort and maybe some new citizens you can get this done.
