So I started a city, the comfy confines of Hunter's Island (a protectorate of Hunter's Hollow). I thought to add a citizen they merely declared residency in town, or enter your house if it alreadydeclared asyour residence. Many have done this and no citizens appear in the citizen report (only 1 citizen reported). I see no appropriate options in the City Hall Menu to deal with this. I have also found nothing in the Faq's. I'm kind of in a panicbecause my 24 hours is up in about 3 hours, and I don't want my city hall to disappear. Pleasee help if you can.

One guys (who had a house in the city) placed another house, declared, then went and voted for me. He then was accepted as a citizen.
Was it the voting? Or do peeps have to redeed? I hope peeps don't have to redeed their houses, because that won't happen.

have all the people tried to redeclare their residence? if they haven't, perhaps try that... city stuff is sometimes buggy, there's not much we can do
if it still doesn't work, come back and let me know.

No, only about 5 have declared. The rest are on teamspeak with me ready to go. The funny thing is I logged in with Little Stov (my alt Stovocor), declared residence, then tried to vote. I couldn't vote because noone's running against Big Stov (Stovokor the mayor). **edit**!? How did the other dude vote? I think i planted my house in the Twilight Zone. Little stov is still not showing as a citizen.

do you have more room to place more houses? I guess you can try placing some temporary small houses close to the city hall, and have some of your friends who haven't declared to declare in those instead.
otherwise, with the tight schedule you have, I don't think I can grab someone's attention fast enough

Yes I'm mobilizing the crew now, and giving them deeds as they need them. I did a Csr ticket and posted in the support forum also. Thanks for your help.
Just to be clear, Is it your understanding (as it is mine) that only a declaration of residence within the city limits is required to obtain citizenship?
Funny thing is I was gonna cancel this account, I was getting real bored. And World War II Online made me a better offer, hehe ($25 3 months)
I thought a city might be a fun venture as a last ditch attempt to have fun. Maybe not....

Oh well cities suck, looks like my last attempt at fun is destroyed by bad code. Had everyone withing the perimiter, declared residence, nothing worked. Some peeps had to vote to get it to work. Some peeps couldn't vote. The f-ing 'change residence' timer is absolutely **edit**. What an abortion. Why even introduce cities in this state?
