I'm looking for information on how to align a player city with a faction so that overt players clone overt after being killed within the city.

Is there anyone who can help me with that information?

I think just being an overt member of a faction when you place your city hall and cloner will take care of this problem for you. Though I may be mistaken. Other can likely confirm or deny this.

If a building is placed (any building) while the player is overt the building will be alligned to that player's faction.

So to make the Cloning Centre faction alligned, make sure the Mayor is overt when he places it.

It doesn't matter what faction changes occur after that as the building will stay faction alligned from that point on.

You donthave to be overt. I placed cloning facility while covert and itis reb.City structures are alinged with the mayor'sfaction, like any other stucture.

Thanks, I stand corrected.

I'm neutral, so I'm just going on what I've been told.

So, to correct myself: If the Mayor is part of either faction when placing it, then the Cloning Centre will be alligned with that faction.

I found this to be incorrect. The mayor has been imperial for a long time and was covert when he placed it. We had a raid in our city this past weekend and everyone that died came out of our cloaning facilty covert. Last night he went overt and re-placed it and then we tested it out. He cloaned overt.

Thanks for clarifying about the bug... he or the city must be bugged because he's beentheonly mayor of our city and he's been imperial for probably 7 months on that character. We had to TEF fight during the raid over the weekend because of the clone thing. The only way it fixed for us was him being overt and re-placing the clone facility.
