We have a player city not far from the NPC rebel base on south of Nyms on Lok. The NPC rebel troops stay on the hill- I've only seem them drift down the hill a short ways - but never into town.
Well, today I saw a marrooned Pirate in an alley off main street and some NPC rebles fighting it out with him. I did'nt think anything of it - since we've been getting more and more Imps coming into town - some ppl set their rebel 'pets' on patrol. It turns out it wasn't a pet - but the NPC rebels.
What's even cooler, was this evening when I logged back in.. the Rebel Captain himself - our local recruiter as it were - is HERE in my CANTINA! So cool, I ca'nt tell you! Its like our city was being treated as an NPC location or something.
Maybe this is not big deal, but after several months - it's pretty amazing to me!

Yeah, we have a small imperial base as a local POI in our city boundary. Its been there since before we settled the area and has remained there every since. It makes for great FP farming as its static and the respawn on the troopers is like once every 15 minutes. They also do tend to wander into town if dragged by a passing overt rebel player.
We also get a full on Imperial NPC Base with ATST spawn occassionally on the edge of town (which causes the commandos in the town to go weak at the knees in anticipation of a FP farming fest 
).
