Thread: Do ballot boxes work?

My city is going to add a seat toour city counsel. We were thinking we could us a ballot box for the voting. But I have never messed with them, so need info. Oh and where do I get one? Do players make them?
Please note I'm not talking about the onesthat come in city halls

Ballot boxxes work, until the server goes down, then they get reset to blank
so if you set it up monday, you'd need to stop voting before the server shuts down at 3am pst (tuesday).
Servres usually don't shutdown friday and saturday nights, so theoretically could get a 3 day vote going.
Of course, the last time I setup a ballot box, the planet's server crashed, so it was only up 1 hour...
Oh, you, that set it up can't vote. vote results are sent in email to you
(I've only tried it in City Hall, dunno what'd happen if somebody in admin list placed/set it up).
