Thread: A new Idea for politicians and cities
This leads to a new idea I have in mind... APARTMENTS!!!
yes.. we can build a larger structure (such as PA size buildings) with multirooms for people to "rent" similar to a house...
they use the same lot for the apartment (well 1 lot) and pay maintence.. if maintence ran out..or inactive.. the partment becomes available again.
Apartment features
-about the same size as small tatooine home (large front small back)
-a chest that ties to your bank..for personal items
-item count limit to 100 for apartment for decoration... if maintence runs out.. the owner of the apartment complex can take the items..
-during rental period and active.. only the player rented the apartment may enter and leave similar to a housing terminal... only when the maintence ran out OR inactive... then owner can enter
-maint is 30cr/hr
The Complex. Owned by the players that drop them but takes up 10 lots, BUT can only be place in city and pay city fees of 20k per week.
Benefits.... owner gets 5% cut on the maintence fee into their account. Paid once a week (or same tick as city property tax)
The apartment complex can hold up to 10 people inside (5 room per floor? 2 floors? or5 floors with elevator at 2 rooms each floor?
why apartment complex??
this is a good way to get "initial citizen" started or questionable... if wish to place a home later after X days/week activies.. then you can place a house.. some people might like to live in an apartment to have a direct tie to the bank box 
just making it place only in cities would limit them in a way
