You can indeed place 2 cantinas... for that matter also 2 banks, 2 cloning centers... just remember you will be charged for each structure placed (maintenance).

I have done this in our Player City on Chilastra, where our population is 110+ citizens.

yes, sure can, if fact, Don't see any reason why 1 char cannot place 2 cantina's, since it takes 5 lots x 2 = 10 lots = 2 cantina's

Anyway, yes, can have more then one cantina in a city.

I do think that its not posible to place to Shuttleports tho, because , I do not think SOE ever had in mind to have more then one in player cities to allow a different name for each one in a city so it does not get confused as to which shuttle port it can use.

So, I don't think its possible to have 2 of those, even tho, I mostly think its pointless to having 2 of those structures, and the added extra cost it adds to the city.

So, does this mean a mayor can place a cantina and the city pays for it? Does it cost the mayor any lots?

If the mayor is a master entertainer, the mayor can place a cantina and it will come out of the mayor's character lots. The city doesn't pay for cantinas, they are private structures, maint is paid for by individuals.

Our city has 3 cantinas currently.

The person who's placing the cantina has to be Master Chef,Master Dancer or Master Musician. And not Master Entertainer.
