Thread: Why can people still clone at a city when citybanned?

When it happens though... if you get killed and chose your pre-designed clone factory you clone right where you are. Could it be considered an exploit?
Well, a nice fix to this and a fair fix would to have a check in place. Where the game system would first check for cityban on player if the pre-designated is a player city. Next if the check came up with a ban from all civic facilities, the player in question could choose to close at the closest non-banned city without penalties for the first clone. It would then be the player's responsibility to clone at that location, or another of their choosing. Another clone would result in standard penalties for cloning at non-designated locations.
This sounds fair I think.

On a related note, I'd like to see people not being able to shuttle in to a city if banned.
This is exactly what I was thinking. They can't use the shuttle to leave the city but they can use it to come in...that is kind of retarded.
I am checking out that, if i take my city off being registered, what would happen? If I remember correctly, you would no longer have an option to get the shuttle to the city, but would always have to buy a return ticket. And the shuttle would operate as always. Anyone do this yet? I would like to be sure before i take my city off the map. And, that would also meant that visitors would no longer know about our mall, which makes me really have to stop and think.
