Several friends and I are discussing the possibility of creating our own guild and player city. Our first big question is.....How do we find out if a planet has an available slot for a new city? We had heard the planet that is our first choice may be maxed out on PCs. Where do we go for such information?
Thanks for any help.

As far as I know the only way is to get your 10 people together (necessary if the hall gets placed) and try to place the hall. I have submitted CSR tickets and was told that SOE employees could not tell me if the cap was reached because that would be an unfair 'in game hint'! Another CSR told me to open the planetary map and 'count', I told her about all the cities which were too small to be listed and then she told me to go on a 'fansite' Yeah, I look for an official answer and I am told to go to a 'fansite'. I mean come on! Especially when halls can only be used on certain planets. To have to buy a hall to find out how many cities there are is rediculous! There should be a way to find out how many cities of each level there are on a planet!! And get rid of city caps or increase them! They are a dumb idea all around! People just go and build houses without putting up cities, so it does nothing to control population!

Remember you can't redeed a city hall, only destroy it, so if it does get placed, you have 24 hours for your 10 residents to declare residency or everything gets destroyed.
