I just read a thread where a player resident of a player city was City Baned. Is this possible? Please only politicians who have had to do this and suceeded reply.

I'm not a politician, but I can tell you for certain that residents of player cities can be banned from that city. I have a friend who was banned from his home city and now has to move without being able to use the shuttle port or any facility there.

Well, I am the Mayor of a Metropolis and I was not able to ban a CITIZEN (i.e. someone with declared residence in the city).
It is possible to ban a RESIDENT - someone who just has a house, but has declared as a citizen.
I've tried this many times and it is always the same - the instance to which you refer may just be a bug, or the person may have ceased to be a citizen because they:
1. Redeed their house;
2. Their house blew-up because there no maintenance;
3. They were not really citybanned - someone just attempted to do it.
Hope that helps!

The only way that a citizen can be /citybanned from a city is if they are /citybanned before they became a citizen.

You didn't believe me?
More important for me is that fact that there doesnt appear to be any way in game to see who exactly is on the /cityban list.
A Mayor should be able to add and remove people from that list without them being present... same problem with the militia list.

You can /cityban residents, but not citizens.
