the reason your update time shifts forward is that the update counter is linked to the in game clock. time only pass in game when the server is up, so you have to take server downtime into account. same goes for maintainance for structures.

Well thats a pretty lame excuse for something that shouldn't be that way. I suppose nobody ever said it would be the same time each week... but it would seem to make sense, eh?

I'm just really curious to find out if this is only me or not. When I originally placed my city hall, it was on a late friday night. The updates afterward have been just longer than a week and now all of a sudden its a full day later, now on Saturday night. This isn't very conveinent for me. I specifically planned to have it be on friday nights and now the little bit of control I thought I had over that I don't even have now. This weekit seems to have jumped a full 11 hours. Does anyone else experience this, and if so, do the weeks just keep getting longer and longer or what?? It sounds like a bug to me, hopefully not just my bug, I have enough already.

Yeah, it slips forward every cycle. Ours used to be early on Saturday, then late Saturday, and now it's midday on Sunday. Not a bug, just the way the update works unfortunately. It isn't instant.
