Im currently in a city that is looking to replace its current mayor. My question is, what happens if the mayor we find to replace the current mayor is lower level than the current one? What happens to the city? More to the point, will we loose any city structures or just the ability to place more until the new mayor attains a level to which he can place the structures? What about MIlitia and zoning rites? Can anyone fill in any details about this process for me?

thanks

you'll just need to votes to change mayor. you won't 'lose' anythign that's already in place, you just won't be able to change it until the new mayor has the skill boxes for it.

(for example, if you have a specialization, the new mayor could remove it, but not add a new one until they have the skill box for it)

i'd reccomend the new mayor not pick up any structures until they have the skills to put them back down too. it's a good way to lose a shuttle for a few weeks.

Cool, thanks for the help. Thats what I thought would be the case, just wanted to confirm it. As for the shuttle, we still have a little growing to do to make it to that point. Thanks again.

The new mayor would have to have Martial Policy I to give militia to someone. Existing militia would keep theirs.

yep, what taorah said.

depending on your city size, it should only take one election to have enough xp to train that box. If it takes a little longer, then like like what was already said, the new mayor automatically gets the command of /grantzoningrights.

good luck to your new mayor.
