Thread: Mission Terminal: Mission Levels
, yet you can go to other cities on teh same planet i'm on (and pretty much every planet) and find a lvl 80 terminal somewhere.....Z
As far as I'm aware the missions you get from the terminal will be entirely dependant on the level of the person getting them, I know we can get any level of mission up to 82 from our terminal on Rori.
I believe you can pull missions from between two levels below you to two levels above, i.e. a level 80 player will be able to get missions level 78-82. A terminal certainly shouldn't be giving a level 80 player only level 75 missions, the xp wouldn't be very good. Its great now that you can get high level things to grind on without having to go to a particular planet, we can all grind near our city.
I really think the group leader's CL affect's the groups mission level. I went out with a bunch of our guys (ok, only 7) and we were pulling 78-82 with a CL80 character as the group leader.
One of the missions was piket protectors who conn'd white to our group. We switched leaders to a guy who had squad leader (for the bonuses) who was CL56-ish. Within abouta minute of switching leaders, the piket's started conn'ing purple to us.
So maybe the group leader is the basis of the mission level?
Well it seems to be worknig odd.
I'm lvl 80 atm, i go to this one city on my server on naboo, missions only lvl 50 there. see 60-65 on other ones. it seesm more dependant on the mission terminal to me.. at least in player cities themselves.

The mission levels from Mission Terminals on Tatooine, Corellia, and Naboo might be capped at a certain level.
I've been in a group pulling level 79-82 missions on Corellia so that planet at least is not capped at a low level. We have Improved Job Market, but I don't think that makes a difference to the actual mission difficulty.

They may have changed it back. At the end of CU Beta they were capped on Tatooine to level 15. But that may have been because of a bug they discovered late in beta that was fixed just as the code was published to live.

i did missions the 1st day that ROTW went live on naboo. i needed to get + jabba faction, and i was capped then, at lvl 50. i am assuming the other starter planets were roughly the same.
if lvl 80+missions are possible on the starter planets, that is something new for sure, and has changed since ROTW was released.

I just tested this again. Tatooine is still capped at Level 15. At least it is in my city. I haven't tried anywhere else.

I was out hunting with Odi the other day, and he had no problem pulling CL56-60 missions in the city we live in (on tat).
I don't remember where I read this, but someone said that the distance from the mission terminal to the closest NPC city matters. Mesric Sanctuary is pretty close to AH, maybe that's why? Mos Oasis is almost 4k from Mos Entha and about 2k from Mos Taike.
p.s.: Odi just checked with his other char that's CL80, he can get CL80 in Mos O and Dark Carn Gudrun (1.8k from wayfar). he can only get CL60 in Twin Suns (1.4k from Eisley) and FarHaven (1k from wayfar).

The distance from NPC cities may be the key here then. Kor Spera is about 2500m from Kor Vella (closest NPC city) and we pull the high level missions. I'll see if I can poke around in some of the other playercities that are a bit closer to NPC ones.
