I just have another qiuck question and it is...is the politic profession one you start out with or do you have to gain it later on? and if you gain it later on can you have 2 professions such as architect with training and politc?

Politician is considered a starting profession because it doesn't have prerequisites to take it. You still have to get trained in it, though, which you can do at any time by talking to a Politician trainer (there are waypoints in the Politician Guide and in the FAQ). It doesn't cost skill points so you're free to take whatever other professions you have available skill points for.
