IC:
Fellow politicians,
I would like to inform you, that I have stepped down from the Mayoral race for Farpoint,Tatooine. My Niece Ricarda Inoxi was killed and so Farpoint Valley will get a new Mayor as well soon. Both cities were my babies, I built them and was happy to give people a home and a place to enjoy our up to 160+ community.
After my niece was killed, and some people in my city decided that I was not suitable for the Mayor post anymore, I decided to let the challenger take over and NOT, as I once swore, destroy the city. It makes no sense to me to destroy what I built, and it is unfair to those who helped me there. So i left Farpoint to be a simple resident and Merchant.
The mud fight that developed soon after my stepdown is without comparison. I would have never thought something this disgusting would develop, but well, politics and power, thats something people long for when they dont have it and want to get rid of sometime when they have it. When I am considered to be not useful for the residents and get messages that are very personal and threatening, I cant take it anymore, since I always worked for people and for fame, not for power.
Farewell Farpoint, I hope you survive. Farewell Ricarda, your follow-up Mayor is really a gem so up there, you shouldnt be worried about Farpoint Valley.
If ever you need me, for political advise, I am around and will set up a new life, as a retired Mayor, but not a retired person.
OOC:
Guys, you always gave me great input and I enjoyed reading all your ideas and creativity. As a Master Politician with two chars and two cities that have developed well before JTL and ROTW, roleplay cities, I always had fun. Unit the day the cities were more inactive than active. People couldnt be motivated by myself anymore and events didnt run. I cant run a city alone and take all beatings alone if I dont do so. Lately, hate tells and mails were just too much for me to have fun as a mayor, so I took the chance of a challenger and stepped down to regain fun ingame.
Right now I will be the slick and sneaky smuggler I always wanted to be and I am having loads of fun. Whenever a city on Starsider needs a politician, an experienced one, call me and we might team up. For now I will go on playing this great game .
Thanks to you I went politician, thanks to you I mastered it and thanks to the people I built something that I can be proud on forever. Two Cities, one Community.

Good cheer to you in all you do!
My brief stint as a resident of Farpoint was very enjoyable. Every time I logged on there were other citizens to RP with. I have not found that anywhere else and can only hope to achieve it in Temenos.
