Thread: Can you put a vendor in a City Hall?
Can't add much more to it than the title. Can you put a vendor in a City Hall?
Thank You,
Michael

Nope, sorry. Vendors are created using the Structure management terminal, and the terminal in Cityhall only allows you to destroy the structure. So you cannot. You can however place trainers in city hall, but I had an issue with them running off and dissappearing. I guess I didn't pay them enough

Really? I'm pretty sure I've seen it done before. The structure terminal isn't the only way to create vendors. You can also use the /createv command. I've never tried it on a city hall myself though.
There was a city on Tatooine in the Intrepid server that had vendors (I forget the city name, but I believe it was Serenity Valley) The vendor were the mayors. This was quite awhile ago though that I last visited their city(as in months)
I've done it in the past (not running a town, atm).
What you need to do is do your /createvendor in a Different building.
Then simply drop that vendor in your CH. Only the Mayor would be able to do this, obviously.
You're right Ladu. It was Serenity Valley's city hall. They were Padre's vendors you are probably recalling. When he was Mayor there. But I've put vendors in there since being Mayor too. I placed a Wookiee and a Twi'lek vendor in there for Life Day. Dressed them up like a Santa Wookiee and a Twi'Elf.
Had them ad barking,"Happy Life Day!" Next to our Life Day tree.
Created them in another house and then went to city hall to place them. The /createVendor command now only works if you are in range of a structure terminal too. Not sure if it works in city hall. But I do know if you get to far off on the opposite side of the basement in a guild hall you can't use it.
