I'm kinda curious, has anyone tried to place streetlamps, fountains, and burning braziers (show those men who's boss ) on top of their PA hall or the balconies that a few home types allow? If you can drop them up there then yay, all the dev's need to do now is allow furniture to be placed outdoors and decorating rooftops will be possible, at cost to the city meaning bribery and all that but meh, if not then when are they gonna fix this? I mean honestly what's the deal it was supposed to be getting worked on back when the game came out as well as upping item limits.

I hadn't thought of that so I ran out and tried. Yes, you can. I just placed a streetlamp on my medium tatooine house balcony.

This could be bad if it allows mayors to place stuff on someone's balcony without permission.

Since the balcony is considered "outside" by the engine, the space is regulated by the city, not the house owner.

Just keep your house private if you dont want a moron mayor to decorate your house balcony. or Ban the mayor. But This is cool to allow us to decorate our Guild halls.

So hey if I decorate my Guild hall roof does it count to house or to City decorations?

Probaly as city, since you can't place furniture on the roof.

This is still very cool . . . I think I'll ask the citizens if they'd like to sponsor one decoration per PA.
